AmCham Slovakia

AmCham, on behalf of its members from a variety of sectors, successfully advocated for a more balanced scheme of insolvency moratorium. 

Following the Slovak Government´ approval of its initial version, AmCham sent a letter to Minister of Justice M. Kolíková and subsequently chairmen of the parliamentary Economic Affairs (P. Kremský) and Constitutional Committee (M. Vetrák) with recommendations calling for a more balanced approach towards creditors and debtors. The amendment was signed by H.E. Z. Caputova, President of Slovakia, on April 24 and has become effective immediately. Final version can be found here.
