The EPRAVO Group publishing house, in cooperation with the weekly TREND, announced the winners of the 12th Law Firm of the Year 2024 competition. RUŽIČKA AND PARTNERS Law Firm won the Public Procurement category for the twelfth time, having defended its first place in the previous eleven years. In addition, the firm also won in the Logistics and construction category.

The Law Firm of the Year 2024 competition presented the best law firms in Slovakia during a gala evening on Wednesday, 24 April in Bratislava. At the prestigious event, which provides the local market with an orientation in the key areas of law, this year awards were presented in nineteen professional categories and in two special categories: Pro Bono & CSR and Best Client Service. Two main awards, National Law Firm and International Law Firm, were also presented.

RUŽIČKA AND PARTNERS is one of the undisputed leaders on the Slovak market in the area of public procurement, as evidenced by the unique unbroken chain of victories in this category since the beginning of the competition in 2013. This is an achievement that no other law firm in the history of the competition has been able to achieve in any of the categories ranked. The firm's associates have worked on a number of high-profile projects for the public sector. They also represent a number of private sector companies bidding for public contracts in Slovakia or abroad.

“Public procurement law is a key area of law in the public sector. It is a tool that enables the state and local government to meet its day-to-day operational needs, but above all to meet the strategic objectives of national and local policies. It is also essential in the context of economic recovery and addressing the impact of the global crisis. That is why we are particularly pleased to be number one in this category. Our twelfth win in a row is an achievement of which we are extremely proud,” said Ján Azud, Senior Partner for Public Procurement.

RUŽIČKA AND PARTNERS won for the first time this year also in the Logistics and construction category. As a long-standing leader in legal consulting in the field of projects and infrastructure in Slovakia, it has countless projects in the field of transport and logistics in its portfolio, many of which can be described as pioneering. These include, for example, the R1 expressway project between Nitra and Banská Bystrica, the new passenger terminal at the Bratislava airport, or the intermodal transport terminal projects in Lužianky and Žilina. In the field of logistics and construction, the firm provides consultancy primarily to the public sector, but its clients also include several leading European and global private construction and property development companies.
