On the 25th of April, we celebrate the International Girls in ICT Day as AmCham Slovakia recognizes the critical need to motivate more girls and women to utilize study and work opportunities in ICT sector. 

Technology plays a pivotal role in various careers streams such as graphic design, law, art, history, education, medicine, etc. Learning tech skills at young age equips girls for future economic independence. As the jobs of the future will be driven by technology and innovation, fostering tech literacy among girls is essential for their career success. 

Through this event, we aim to honor the dedicated individuals and organizations who have invested years in supporting and developing girls and youth in the fields of ICT, financial acumen and career skills. Their remarkable and tangible results make them true heroes of our society, and we want to celebrate their achievements on stage repeatedly.
