Slovak Police has announced via social media a launch of new electronic reporting of short-term stay of foreigners. The announced change is in line with the Government Resolution on improving the business environment in Slovakia. 

Accommodation providers will be able to fill in the necessary forms online via website www.slovensko.sk. They will need to log in using their electronic identification card (eID). It will not be necessary to provide Foreign police with any paper forms afterwards. Accommodation providers will be informed on this also by their professional organizations.

Police has also announced they adjust the online reservation system for foreigners. Starting January 15th, 2020, there will be an option to book an appointment at Foreign Police for up to 6 weeks in advance and also for more workplaces. The electronic application form is promised to get upgraded as well.
