SMEs face endless challenges. Crowdberry and Mazars join forces aiming to drive their growth

The largest alternative investment platform in Slovakia and Czech Republic Crowdberry and international audit and advisory firm Mazars have signed a cooperation agreement. Considering recent extraordinary development, their common aim is to help privately-owned businesses at all stages of their business lifecycle, from start-up through to exit. The cooperation is focused on both companies and investors in order to connect innovative private and family businesses with a smart capital and thus contribute to their growth and value for the owners and future economy.

BSCF 2020 - Business centers in Slovakia are flexible and growing - virtual teams, working from home and digital transformation

Bratislava - September 24, 2020 - Business and shared service centers have demonstrated a high level of flexibility and resilience to the external crisis. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the vast majority (97%) of these centers continued their activities without significant restrictions while maintaining high labor productivity. Also, the vast majority of these centers (84%) did not request any form of government assistance. This third largest industry in Slovakia is growing, the number of employees in business centers increased by 3.5 percent compared to last year. The labor market in this sector is also stable due to the economic situation, with about three out of ten business centers planning to further recruit more employees due to the growth of the centers in the coming months. On the other hand, a tenth of business centers in Slovakia allow a reduction in stocks.

Discussion focused on rule of law, innovation and regional development as all of these areas are shared priorities of both AmCham and the Ministry.

Employers, experts, and public officials discussed modern trends, opportunities, and challenges during a pandemic and how the support of women's talent works at the Digital Conference Women in Business, organized on Thursday by the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia.
