AmCham in the Media - April 2023
As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.
On March 2, The Slovak Spectator published an article describing Bratislava’s efforts to create its own Municipal Shared Services for Bratislava. The article mentions the BSCF conference which also inspired this project and quotes Peter Rusiňák, AmCham’s senior policy manager and BSCF coordinator.
On March 6, website sario.sk mentioned the topic of relocations of highly qualified workers from third countries and mentioned the cooperation with the BSCF.
On March 8, AmCham Slovakia organized Women in Business Conference which appeared on TASR, TA3, Akčné ženy and Euractiv.
On March 20, the education focused portal eduworld.sk published an article about Košice International School, which will be launching its high school International Baccalaureate program. The article mentions AmCham Slovakia as the organization which was instrumental in opening the school back in 2020 and praises AmCham’s effort to uplift the region.
On March 20, TREND weekly released its TREND Barometer survey. AmCham’s Executive Director Martina Slabejová was among the selected respondents who answered the question: Do you consider the plan to ban the sale of combustion-engine cars in the EU from 2035 as the right step?
On March 21, AmCham Slovakia together with partners organized Restructuring Day on Insolvency Law on how to help the business community in Slovakia, Euractiv informed about the outcomes.
