AmCham in the Media - July 2023

As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.   

On June 16, The Slovak Spectator published an article mapping the developments in legislation related to working from home and other flexible working arrangements. It appeared in its special publication - Career & Employment Guide 2023. The article describes how Slovakia’s shared service and business service centers adapted to remote work and the hybrid models of the post-pandemic era, mentioning BSCF and quoting its Chair and AmCham President Gabriel Galgóci.

On June 19, trend.sk published an interview with AmCham President Gabriel Galgóci, also representing AIslovakIA, on how AI can help solve the existing shortage of healthcare professionals as well as its potential to improve the Slovak healthcare sector.
 
On June 22, The Slovak Spectator published an article exploring to what extent the skills of Ukrainian refugees are being put to good use in the Slovak labor market. The article also quotes Peter Rusiňák, AmCham’s Deputy Director and BSCF coordinator.

On June 27, Hospodarske Noviny published an interview with Mária Berithová, President of the Slovak-Austrian Chamber of Commerce, who mentions AmCham’s Rule of Law Initiative and its goals and activities.
 
On June 29, Euractiv published an expert article by AmCham’s Vice-President Michal Pintér on the risks and benefits of green energy transformation, as a part of a series focused on the decarbonisation of the Slovak economy.
