As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.   

On February 26, SME published a commentary by Katarína Miňová, AmCham's Regional Manager, about the challenges awaiting Eastern Slovakia in the context of new foreign investments, referring to AmCham's ongoing initiative "Mapping the Current State of Eastern Slovakia's Potential".
 
The February print issue of The Slovak Spectator featured a special section on the shared services sector ("The sector of the future that's reshaping Slovakia"), including a three-page interview with Peter Rusiňák representing AmCham's Business Service Center Forum, about the evolution of the sector in Slovakia. Other articles in the section cover the topic of ESG (including AmCham's initiatives in this area), developing shared service centers in less developed regions, or Bratislava's own service center.
 
On February 25, various online portals (Netky.sk, AkCne zeny) informed about the Equal Pay Day event and the pay discrimination in Slovakia, also quoting Martina Slabejová, AmCham's Executive Director.
 
On February 24, as a part of RTVS evening news, a report covered the Equal Pay Day event. AmCham's Executive Director Martina Slabejová was among the personalities interviewed at the event.
 
On February 23, the online portal Zeny v meste informed about the signing of the Equal Pay initiative, quoting Martina Slabejová, AmCham's Executive Director
 
On February 20, as part of the Topic of the Day section, Hospodarske Noviny daily published an article about the pace of economic growth in the U.S. which continues to outperform EU. Martina Slabejová was quoted on several occasions offering her perspective on the U.S. success as well as a prognosis for the rest of the year.
 
Between February 12 and 14, numerous media (TREND, TASR, HN, Strategie, Euractiv, Plus jeden den, Nextech, Akcne zeny) informed about Martin Maštalír replacing Gabriel Galgóci in the position of the President of AmCham Slovakia.

On February 5, Nextech monthly published an interview with AmCham BSCF coordinator Peter Rusiňák on the stability of business services as the most the resilient sector of the Slovak economy.
