AmCham in the Media - March 2024

As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.    

On March 6, SME Index published an in-depth interview with Peter Rusiňák, Business Service Center Forum Coordinator, about the evolution and the importance of the sector of shared services in Slovakia.

On March 7, Slovak Spectator published an article about the Bratislava Service Centre, mentioning its close cooperation with BSCF and quoting Peter Rusiňák, Business Service Center Forum Coordinator
 
On March 11, various online portals (Euractiv, Nextech, edennikn.sk, TASR) reported about AmCham's event "Women Leadership in Digital Era", informing about the benefits of diverse leadership and its contribution to a more innovative and holistic decision-making process, while also pointing out the persisting gender gap, especially prevalent in the STEM fields.
 
On March 7 and March 18, The Slovak Spectator published two articles related to shared service centers and AmCham's Business Service Center Forum Coordinator, quoting Peter Rusiňák, BSCF Coordinator, on the benefits of establishing shared service centers in the least developed regions, and about the specific skills SSCs will be looking for in their employees in the future.
 
On March 12, SME INDEX published an article exploring the evolution of shared service centers in Slovakia, followed by another article on March 18, on the skills SSCs will be looking for in their employees in the future, quoting Peter Rusiňák, BSCF Coordinator, in both texts.

On March 20, SME Daily published an article on the existing gender gap in STEM fields and the IT and Tech Industry, in relation to AmCham's event "Women Leadership in Digital Era", also quoting AmCham's President Martin Maštalír on the benefits of women in leadership positions.
 
On March 26 TASR and netky.sk published a report on the meeting between State Secretary R. Chovanec with representatives of foreign chambers of commerce, including AmCham Slovakia, on their potential closer cooperation and shared goals with the Ministry.
