AmCham in the Media - June 2024
As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.
On June 5, The Slovak Spectator published an in-depth article entitled "Tapping Eastern Slovakia's Potential", quoting Peter Rusiňák, AmCham's Deputy Director, and Katarína Miňová, AmCham's Regional Manager. The article describes AmCham's long-term activities in the east with a special focus on the ongoing "Mapping the Potential of Eastern Slovakia" project.
On June 6, TREND Weekly published its regular "Barometer" poll, which also included Martina Slabejová's, AmCham's Executive Director, reply to the question on the impact of EU regulations on doing business in Slovakia.
On June 6, the Forbes magazine published an article on AI's impact on the shared services sector in Slovakia. It quotes Peter Rusiňák, AmCham's Deputy Director and Coordinator of the Business Service Center Forum on the developments in the sector and its future in Slovakia.
On June 12, The Slovak Spectator published an article entitled "How the works on the Volvo plant continue", quoting Katarína Miňová, AmCham's Regional Manager.
On June 17, the portal ZIVE published an article about the government's support for education and innovations. The article also quotes Peter Rusiňák, AmCham's Deputy Director and BSCF coordinator about the current situation in the BCS sector in Slovakia.
On June 18, the portal ZIVE informed about the program of the ITAPA conference, mentionign the discussion on AI regulation, which also featured AmCham's Senior Policy Manger Tomáš Jucha.
On June 24, The Slovak Spectator published an overview of labor market trends "Career and Employment Highlights", quoting various data related to women in the tech sector presented at AmCham's "Female Leadership in the Digital Age".
