Cybersecurity at the universities - Study visit to the US. Update: hybrid form
Fulbright Commission invites universities (both private and public) that
offer cybersecurity programs (or plan to open one) to apply for a study
visit in the U.S. Due to the ongoing restrictions generated by the
pandemic, the visit will be held in a hybrid form.
The aim of the visit is to foster the development and strengthening of existing (or almost open) cybersecurity programs in universities. The visit is designed for university representatives. We are particularly looking for highly motivated applicants with strong academic and/or professional background in the field who hold a position that impacts the development of the cybersecurity program (currently existing or planned) at their institution.
There will be 2 components of the program:
A virtual component - 16 online meetings extended over a 4-month period, delivered by Marymount University and World Learning - the component is scheduled for March-June 2021. The schedule presumes one 3-hour long session per week (afternoon hours). An in-person component - an 8-day visit to the US East coast in September 2021.

The deadline for submitting an application is December 20, 2020 at 23:59 CET. The program is organized together with Fulbright Commissions based in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovak Republic and in partnership with two U.S.-based entities: World Learning Inc. and Marymount University. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of State.
