Dear members, we are happy to provide you with heads-up information regarding the proposed idea of the Slovak Government to conduct compulsory Covid testing at companies with 500 and more employees across the country. This idea was originally presented following the meeting of the governmental General Crisis Management Team on December 9.

Following our intensive dialogue with representatives of the Ministry of Economy, we confirm that on December 17 the hygienist-general had asked the Minister of Interior to abort this idea due to high number of unclear issues and several uncertainties associated with potential realization in practice. We will continue to closely monitor this issue and will keep you posted as soon as more news develop.
