Annual Charity Fundraising Drive 2025 – Thank you!
We are delighted to share the wonderful outcome of this year’s Annual Thanksgiving Charity Drive. Thanks to your generosity and willingness to support those who need it most, AmCham Slovakia and its members donated 14,000 € to OASIS – Hope for a New Life.
OASIS – Hope for a New Life, founded in 2005, is a non-profit organization offering vital support to people in difficult life situations, especially those experiencing homelessness. Their mission is to help the abandoned, sick, and vulnerable regain dignity, stability, and a real chance for a better future.
Their work includes three essential services:
- Shelter (177 people)
- Dormitory (up to 279 people)
- Support for independent living
It was an honor to welcome the organization’s director Father Peter Gombita on stage as we presented the symbolic check during the gala. Moments like these remind us why this tradition carries such deep meaning: gratitude becomes action, and community becomes hope.
