AmCham Charity Fundraising Drive: Make a difference!
One of the greatest strengths of the AmCham business community is its willingness to come together when others need support.
With this spirit in mind, we are pleased to launch our annual Charity Fundraising Drive. We are reaching out to our members for donations, which will be distributed to a deserving organization ALEJ.eu.
Each year, the generosity of our members helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. This year is no different. We invite you to join us in extending a helping hand and sharing the strength, compassion, and solidarity that define the AmCham community in our annual Charity Fundraising Drive.

THIS YEAR, AMCHAM IS PROUD TO SUPPORT:
ALEJ is an independent women-led non-governmental organization dedicated to providing counseling, protection, and support to women who are experiencing violence against women or are at risk of violence. The organization creates a safe and confidential environment where women can openly discuss their experiences, access professional assistance, and explore pathways toward safety, justice and independence. Its work is grounded in solidarity among women, respect for individual circumstances, and the belief that no woman should have to face violence alone.
Through its counseling center, ALEJ offers comprehensive support services - specialized social counseling and safety planning, as well as psychological and legal support, including assistance with leaving abusive relationships, and help for women and their children in overcoming the consequences of violence. The organization supports not only survivors of intimate partner violence but also women affected by stalking, cyberstalking, post-separation violence, sexual violence, discrimination, and social exclusion. ALEJ also collaborates with professionals, schools, public institutions, and community organizations to strengthen the protection and support system for women and children in Slovakia.
