AmCham Slovakia

Building on Partnership. Strengthening Economic Dialogue.

On October 19, 2026, AmCham Slovakia and the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, represented by Martin Maštalír, President of AmCham Slovakia, and Dušan Keketi, Vice-Governor of NBS.

The Memorandum builds on and further strengthens the existing cooperation between AmCham Slovakia and NBS, creating a framework for closer expert dialogue and regular exchange of knowledge on issues important for Slovakia’s sustainable economic development and long-term competitiveness.

The cooperation will focus on sharing insights on the Slovak economy, industry and investment environment, as well as discussing economic growth, competitiveness, technological change, macroeconomic trends and investment opportunities. It will also create opportunities for joint seminars, workshops, webinars and roundtables, strengthening dialogue between public institutions, the business community and the financial sector.

For AmCham Slovakia, the partnership provides a stronger platform for bringing business perspectives and experience into fact-based economic dialogue, while contributing to a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities shaping Slovakia’s competitiveness and future growth.
