Women in Business Webinar organized by CMS
I am delighted to invite you to the next webinar designed for women in business and their male allies which will take place in September. The topic we will be exploring is
"Imposter Syndrome"
While this is a term many of you have probably heard of, it is perhaps more often associated with individuals in the public eye like famous actors or athletes. However, imposter syndrome - the psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, talents, or accomplishments, and has a persistent internalised fear of being exposed as a “fraud”—can affect anyone.
We have invited Emma Sue Prince and Dr. Michaela Musilová to talk to us about this complex topic. Emma Sue is the director of Unimenta and an expert in 7 key skills - adaptability, empathy, critical thinking, integrity, optimism, being proactive and resilience. She delivers awareness raising sessions and coaching in these skills for international firms worldwide. Michaela is a world-class astrobiologist and self-named "Woman from Mars". She is the current director of the HI-SEAS missions, part of the University of Hawaii and the International MoonBase Alliance, a visiting professor at the Slovak University of Technology and vice-chair of the Slovak Organisation for Space Activities.
Together, they will explore what imposter syndrome actually is, with Michaela sharing her own experience of this. They will discuss how to recognise the signs and symptoms in your thinking and behaviour or in your colleagues', and finally they will provide you with some practical advice on how you can address it and/or support others in overcoming this syndrome.
The webinar will be held at 10 am CET on Wednesday 22 September on Microsoft Teams. Please RSVP by Wednesday 15 September if you would like to attend.
