The importance of women’s presence and impact at work has resonated in the business environment for several years now. An increasing number of employers in Slovakia comment on their DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) commitments and focuses on changing the men-women ratio in their teams.
Continuous talent shortage on the market and following layoffs have increased expectations from the DEI programs over time and we hear a lot of mixed feedback on their impact, especially when it comes to getting women „in “. What are the factors behind the slow increase of women’s presence in the corporate environment? Which ones can we influence and how much effort would it cost? Which initiatives work well, and which work against the set DEI goals? Let’s look at how to adjust your upcoming/running DEI initiatives focused on women to reflect new market standards and maximize their overall impact.
At the Workshop we will:
- Describe typical approaches to DEI topic in Slovakia;
- Explain why some of them fail;
- Learn how to recognize the ones with good potential from the ones with limited future impact;
- Present a case of good local practice;
- Discuss how to get the most out of your D&I initiatives as they are now.
