Festival Specials: Health Check Day

AmCham Slovakia together with its partners Dôvera, Váš Lekár, Dr. Max, Pošvanc Fitness & Rescue Room, prepared a special opportunity for members of AmCham Slovakia. Part of the Festival of Future is the Health Check Day. Register and get a chance to check your health data and your health conditions.   

To prevent high sugar, high blood pressure, high metabolic age, dermatology findings, or serious heart attack clues, it is important to be checked regularly. Health Check Day will help you identify potential health issues before they become serious. As we know that we usually don’t have time for such vital check we brought them to you.  

Health Check Day will provide you with an opportunity to discuss lifestyle habits, such as diet, exercise, and mental health, which can lead to healthier choices. You are warmly welcomed! Register! 

DÔVERA & Pošvanc Fitness 

With “Tanita” scale, the expert team of Dôvera and Pošvanc Fitness will measure your body water, BMR (calories required for metabolism), metabolic age, muscle mass, physical rating, visceral fat, bone mass, and % fat and muscle mass for individual limbs and hull. Also, you will experience blood pressure measurement, CO in the lungs with a smokerlyzer, blood sugar values, and blood oxygenation with an oximeter. Consequently, you will have a chance to discuss your output data with doctors. 

Váš Lekár 

Health screenings are significant as they provide early detection of potential health issues, allowing for timely intervention and prevention of serious conditions. Váš Lekár prepared for you two health checks which are: 

Preventive Dermoscopy - Full-Body Mole Check: Guests will have the opportunity to undergo a preventive dermoscopy and a comprehensive examination of moles and skin lesions. This procedure is crucial for the early detection of skin abnormalities and potential skin cancers. It will take place in a private room or an area with adequate partitions to ensure privacy. The process involves standing and will take approximately 10-15 minutes per person. 

ABI Device Examination - This procedure involves using an Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) device, which is essential for detecting risks of stroke or heart attack. Guests will lie down in their underwear for this examination, which will be conducted by a nurse. The process will take about 10-15 minutes per person and is an important measure for cardiovascular health assessment.
