Exclusive Roundtable Discussion
Upon invitation only!
This exclusive roundtable will delve into the current levels of trust in Slovak public institutions, based on findings from the 2024 OECD Trust Survey. According to the survey, only 31% of Slovaks report high or moderately high trust in the national government, which falls below the OECD average of 39%. Trust levels are higher for local government (40%) and the police (40%), while political parties (19%) and news media (28%) remain the least trusted institutions. The survey also highlights significant trust gaps based on age and perceptions of political voice.
The roundtable will offer an opportunity for key stakeholders from the private sector, civil society and government to discuss the drivers of trust and identify actionable strategies to improve the effectiveness, transparency, and responsiveness of Slovak public institutions.
The event will feature a presentation of the survey results by the OECD, followed by a collaborative discussion to explore solutions aimed at strengthening trust in government and institutions within Slovakia. Your expertise and insights will be invaluable in shaping the dialogue around these critical issues.
