The Construction Act, which has been in effect for almost 50 years, will cease to apply as of April 1, 2025.

This Workshop aims to bring the professional community together to introduce the new Construction Law and related executive decrees and explain how they will affect the projects currently pending as well as future construction and permitting. The new construction legislation introduces several significant changes that promise to streamline the entire construction process. It aims to professionalize the state construction administration, reduce the administrative burden on business, and simplify and streamline the permitting procedures. The law also addresses the issue of so-called illegal construction.

During the event, we will focus on topics related to permitting procedures and provide a comprehensive overview of the conditions for construction in Slovakia this year, including the responsibilities of state authorities and municipalities. Along with standard permits, we will also discuss executive decrees introducing new standards for design documentation and forms to be used in the digitalized process.
