This year marks the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America, commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. This milestone offers an opportunity to reflect on America’s democratic foundations as well as highlight the economic collaboration and strong transatlantic partnership between the United States and Slovakia.  

In recognition of this once-in-a-lifetime event and our long-standing history of cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Slovakia, AmCham has decided to forgo our annual Summer Innovation Business Cocktail in Bratislava this year to keep the spotlight on the anniversary celebrations being planned by the embassy. 

Attendance at this event will be by invitation only with invites coming directly from the U.S. Embassy.

We look forward to connecting with you at our other regularly scheduled events throughout the rest of the year, as the Summer Cocktail in Košice on June 11, 2026, and the Welcome Back to Work Business Cocktail in Bratislava on September 3, 2026.
