AmCham in the Media - October 2019
As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.
On October 1, Pravda published an article (including a video
from the AI conference) about the future of employment,
and the impact of AI on the existence of thousands of jobs in Slovakia in the
near future.
On October 2, Trend published article about the AmCham AI Conference,
including quotes from AmCham members (Adient, Microsoft, SwissRe).
In early October, several media informed about the visit of the youngest AI
expert Tanmay Bakshi in Kosice (TouchIT, PC Revue, PC.sk).
On October 8, several media including PC Revue, 24.hod.sk, teraz.sk, ekonomika.sme.sk. reported about the
importance of the business service centers for the Slovak economy as a result
of the 5th annual BSCF Conference. Dennik E also produced an in-depth coverage of the sector.
AmCham president and BSCF chair Gabriel Galgóci
held exclusive interviews by TA3 and Dennik E about the current state of the
sector.
On October 25, Michal Krčméry, AmCham Director of Government Affairs in
published a commentary in Hospodárske noviny in reaction to the
controversial amendments to the Public Procurement Act.
