The Faculty of Business Management at Bratislava University of Economics and Business (EUBA) has become the first and only institution in Slovakia to receive AMBA & BGA joint accreditation. The accreditation was awarded in September 2026 following an international peer review.

During the visit, the panel met with university and faculty leaders, academic staff, students, alumni and employers. The assessment recognised the quality of the faculty’s management education and its close links with practice. The achievement builds on EUBA’s AACSB accreditation, held since 2021, and strengthens opportunities for cooperation with business partners at home and abroad.

Together with the American AACSB and the European EQUIS, AMBA forms the so-called ‘Triple Crown’ – the three most prestigious accreditations in the field of business and management education. AMBA accreditation is the global standard for MBA, DBA and Master of Business Management (MBM) programmes. The AMBA network currently comprises approximately 300 accredited business schools in 75 countries, which rank amongst the top 2 per cent of business schools worldwide.
