AmCham in the Media - October 2023
As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.
On October 21, numerous online portals (aktuality24.sk, topspravy.eu, aktualizovane.eu, newsky.sk, sita.sk, and others) published a press release about the expectations of chambers of commerce towards the new government. The text mentions AmCham Slovakia and AHK Slowakei, quoting Martina Slabejová AmCham's Executive Director, on priorities of the business sector and the employers.
On October 20, iness.sk informed about the Healthy Future II conference, adding a link to the presented analysis of Slovak healthcare.
On October 11, the printed version of Trend included the reply of AmCham's Executive Director Martina Slabejová in its weekly poll "Barometer", the question being: Is the current model of social state in Slovakia sustainable?
On October 11, The Slovak Spectator published the article "How much does business service centre worker earn in Slovakia?", discussing the development of wages within the BSC sector and quoting BSCF Chair and AmCham's President Gabriel Galgóci extensively.
On October 10, The Slovak Spectator published a feature interview with Martina Slabejová entitled "Košice’s potential to become a Central European hub is huge, according to new AmCham Slovakia head". It mentions various AmCham initiatives and goals.
On October 5, various online media (euractiv.sk, teraz.sk, nextech.sk) published a press release related to AmCham's roundtable discussions "Mapping the Current State of Eastern's Slovakia Potential: PHASE 2", quoting Katarína Miňová of AmCHam's Košice office and Martina Slabejová about the region's potential and its preparedness for more investments.
On September 28, (trend.sk, nextech.sk, euractiv.sk) various online media published a summary of the main findings of AmCham's annual BSCF report, presenting the main data related to the sector's development over the past year.
