As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.   

On May 5, AmCham Slovakia’s Vice President of Finance, Christiana Serugova of PwC Slovakia, appeared on RTVS’s morning news program. She shared expert insights on Slovakia’s competitiveness and emphasized the urgent need to improve the business environment, diversify the economy, and rebuild trust in public institutions. These are not only crucial for Slovakia’s economic growth but also vital at the European level, where the EU is falling behind the U.S. and China.

On May 16, several online media outlets, including Euractiv, SITA, Teraz.sk, and NExtech reported on AmCham Slovakia’s Corporate Banking Forum 2025. The reports highlighted the presence of representatives from the banking and legal sector, the discussions on the evolution of corporate banking and its role in boosting Slovakia's competitiveness.
 
AmCham Slovakia’s two-day conference, Future Ready Slovakia: Let’s Talk Competitiveness, received broad media coverage. The event brought together leading experts from the public and private sectors to explore Slovakia’s competitiveness through four key pillars: a strong business environment, trust in institutions, sustainability, and innovation.

As part of the coverage, on May 22, TV Markíza featured a short report from the conference, including an interview with AmCham Slovakia’s President, Martin Maštalír, who explained the event’s purpose and core message.
