Let us invite you to the fifth CWAI MONTHLY CLINIC. This time we have the honor to welcome Mrs. Martina Tauberova, Deputy Minister for EU and International Trade at Ministry of Industry and Trade in Czech Republic and Mrs. Anne Hakansson, Professor in Computer Science & AI Researcher at Tromso University, Norway and Docent in Computer Science, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden.

We would like to introduce to you CWAI (Czech Women in AI). This constantly growing platform of AI Women Experts was launched just few months ago in Czech Republic with the aim to support women in AI, bring together experts, share best practices, build AI women community with international outreach and inspire women of any generations to pursue AI career. CWAI plays also important role in the access to AI related information to broader public, supporting the idea of responsible and human-centric AI.

The initiative is driven by Czech women and supported by US Embassy to Prague and its Office of Naval Research Global, however its spirit is truly international. Starting with just few members in autumn 2020, CWAI has currently grown to a network over 80 women AI professionals from Czech Republic, US, Slovakia, Hungary, Norway, Israel, Sweden, Slovenia and Chile.

As part of the its activities, the platform has recently launched CZWAI Monthly Clinics, which takes place every second Thursday of the month, 4 pm CET. Each clinic is opened with an inspirational key note speaker supporting the idea of women leadership and expertise in AI, followed by expert speaker introducing specific AI-related topic. Saying that, the CWAI clinics were honored to welcome key note speakers and role models as for example Mrs. Jourova, the Vice-president of the EC, Mr. Stefan Engeseth, the worldwide expert in marketing and leadership, Mrs. Ajsa Vodnik, the CEO of AmCham Slovenia or Mr. Samir Nassif, well-known International Coach and author of RISE Method. Similarly, the topics discussed during the past clinics concerned AI & Human Rights, AI & Employment, AI & Media/Disinformation, or AI & Art. We are inviting you to join the upcoming clinic in May aiming to sharing expertise, empowerment and triggering inspiration.

Mrs. Tauberova will open the Clinic with inspirational key note supporting the idea of Women Leadership and AI and introducing the Czech perspective regarding regulation of AI and the Single Market. Followed by Mrs. Hakansson’s presentation focusing on AI & Cyber-Physicals Systems.
