Dentons enhances its Employment and Banking teams in Bratislava with the recruitment of a new partner and counsel

Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, has strengthened its Bratislava office with two strategic hires. Stanislav Ďurica has joined as a partner to lead the Employment and Labor practice, while Counsel Miroslav Kapinaj has joined the Banking and Finance practice. 

Stanislav Ďurica is a prominent lawyer, who advises Slovak and foreign multinational companies on all areas of individual employment law, as well as litigation and arbitration, and industrial property law. Prior to joining Dentons. he worked for five years for a global law firm in Bratislava and for more than 12 years as an associate in the largest Slovak law office. International legal directory The Legal 500 EMEA recognizes Stanislav Ďurica as a “Rising Star” in employment law in the Slovak Republic.

Miroslav Kapinaj joins Dentons as a senior member of the Banking and Finance practice in Bratislava. He focuses on cross-border and local banking and finance, capital markets, corporate, restructuring, real estate, lease and commercial transactions, bond issuances, and PPP projects in the Central European Region and beyond. He also advises on EU law and regulatory issues. Prior to joining Dentons, he worked for four years as a legal counsel for European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, and before that, as an associate for an international law firm in Bratislava.
