Allen & Overy Bratislava has held its market leading position in the Chambers Global 2022 rankings. The results were announced on 18 February 2022. In addition to being ranked Band 1 in the Corporate/ M&A and Banking & Finance categories, Allen & Overy remains the only law firm with a Dispute Resolution team ranked in Band 1.

The Chambers Global Guide ranks the top lawyers and law firms in over 200 jurisdictions around the world. Their rankings are based on in-depth research conducted our dedicated and experienced team of researchers. They provide reliable recommendations to ensure law firm clients are able to make an informed decision when purchasing legal services for all types of legal matters.

Commenting on the team's excellent results against strong competition, Managing Partner Martin Magál said: "Maintaining a Band 1 ranking across all categories is not down to luck. Likewise, I am fully delighted by the first and very well deserved recognition of corporate counsel Tomáš Búry.”

As previously mentioned, Tomáš Búry, Head of the Corporate Department, finally got on the radar of Chambers´ researchers. As described by Chambers: “Entering the rankings following exceptionally strong feedback, Tomas Bury is described by clients as "reliable, credible, capable and a good team player. He is experienced in handling a wide range of cross-border M&A mandates, including acquisitions.”

On top of that, Banking & Finance specialists, Renátus Kollár, Matúš Kudlák and Peter Jedinák maintained their strong rankings from previous years. Their names appear across all three bands. Renátus Kollár has again been ranked Band 1, Matúš Kudlák Band 2 and Peter Jedinák Band 3.

Banking & Finance counsel Attila K. Csongrady has been ranked as the only lawyer in Slovakia in the category Banking & Finance (Foreign Expertise).

Last but not least, Martin Magál retained his Band 1 ranking in both Dispute Resolution and Corporate M&A.
