Carmeuse Slovakia, s.r.o., opens three new lime kilns at its lime plant in Košice. These new kilns (Parallel Flow Regenerative kilns) are the most important investment Carmeuse has ever made in Europe.

They feature the most efficient and best available technology on the market. This investment is an important milestone for Carmeuse, on the path to global CO2 reduction, which is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
