AmCham Slovakia

State Secretary Rastislav Chovanec (Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic) has always been an honored and welcomed guest at AmCham's annual Business Service Centers Conference and he has repeatedly voiced his support for the needs of the shared services sector.

We were grateful for the opportunity to meet him again and continue in our fruitful cooperation in other areas. During his recent meeting with Martina Slabejova the discussion was centered around AmCham Slovakia's priorities in the following areas:

• Motivating young Slovaks studying or working abroad to return home
  
• the positioning of Slovak companies abroad, the strengths and image they can build upon, particularly in the U.S. and Canada
  
• AmCham's activities in the ongoing "Mapping the Current State of Eastern Slovakia's Potential" initiative aimed at helping a smooth and successful transformation of Eastern Slovakia
• activities of the The Business Service Center Forum (BSCF), which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year

We were also thrilled to invite Mr. Chovanec to our upcoming "Festival of Future" event to be held in September, which will serve as a celebration of AmCham's 30th anniversary!
