AmCham Slovakia

Today we had the opportunity to meet with Milan Hodas, State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic, and Michal Kotlarik, Director-General of the International Law Department of the Ministry of Justice. AmCham Slovakia was represented by its President Martin Maštalír, First Vice-President Martin Magal, and Policy Officer Zuzana Serinová.

We believe that constructive dialogue at the expert level is crucial for addressing and resolving the issues facing the Slovak business environment and employers in Slovakia. Establishing these valuable connections opens up new opportunities for meaningful collaboration in the future.

Our discussion focused on topics central to AmCham Slovakia's institutional pillar, including the Rule of Law (Initiative for the Rule of Law), the civil code, construction law, public procurement, and restructuring and insolvency. These areas are of key importance to AmCham members, and we address them through our task forces and working groups.

We are grateful to the Ministry of Justice for an engaging discussion and we look forward to collaborating to improve the business environment in Slovakia.
