Innovating through Culture

The University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice has launched a new research project focused on examining Slovak business culture and its parallels to American corporate values, offering invaluable insights into the dynamics shaping the modern business landscape in Slovakia.

By comparing established companies with emerging startups, we anticipate uncovering critical patterns in intercultural communication, corporate identity, and job satisfaction, which are essential for understanding the nuances of business culture across different scales. Such insights will be especially significant for organizations like AmCham Slovakia, as the results will inform cross- cultural collaboration strategies, leadership models, and employee engagement practices. The study's findings could serve as a roadmap for fostering a business environment that blends local cultural strengths with global corporate practices, ultimately enhancing competitiveness and innovation in both sectors.
