Last month, we translated operating instructions for a medical device used in coronary angiography for our Slovak client – a medical devices importer to Slovakia.
And last academic year, we translated several scientific papers for our clients – Slovak Universities Staff – which were well received and published in the respective international current contents journals.
In none of the cases were the translations sworn ones. No official seal was affixed to them. They were not used for legal purposes per se.
Yet in every single instance mentioned, the authors bore significant liability for the texts and any consequences arising therefrom. Of which our clients are acutely aware. And that is why; to assure the accuracy of the message and its being identical across languages, they place orders for their translations particularly with us.
