KPMG in Slovakia continues to grow its Partnership with Eva Švigárová appointed as KPMG CEE Partner
Bratislava, 15 October 2025 – KPMG in Slovakia has reinforced its leadership in Central and Eastern Europe with the promotion of Eva Švigárová to CEE Partner and her appointment to the Partnership of KPMG Central and Eastern Europe (KPMG CEE) effective 1 October 2025.

Eva Švigárová has played a crucial role in leading multi-national complex audits in financial services as well as commercial sector. Her personal passion is the modernization of audit – making processes more efficient and effective through standardization, centralization, and innovative tools, while leveraging the company’s and the CEE region’s extensive experience and data.

New Associate Partner Appointments in Slovakia
Alongside the promotion of Eva Švigárová, the local KPMG practice in Slovakia welcomes four new Associate Partners, reflecting the firm’s continued investment in leadership across key service lines:
- Pavol Adamec (Consulting) – A seasoned expert in risk management and technology advisory with over 30 years of experience, including major cross-border projects within KPMG’s global network, particularly in the United States.
- Karol Balco (Deal Advisory) – A specialist in business valuation and financial modelling, supporting M&A and strategic transactions. He is both an ACCA member and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), which brings together experts in property and business valuation, real estate markets, and investment projects.
- Miroslav Kožlej (Audit) – A recognized audit leader who has been instrumental in developing KPMG’s office in Eastern Slovakia. He played a key role in expanding audit activities in the region and is also a respected mentor to young talents.
- Miroslav Talian (Deal Advisory) – An experienced mergers and acquisitions advisor, serving clients across energy, services, industrial manufacturing, and agriculture. As an experienced deals professional, he is well recognised as a go to advisor for those seeking foreign investment or wishing to invest in the local marketplace. In 2025, he played a pivotal role in the Pyronova–Altebra cross-border transaction.
