Slovakia has earned a remarkable achievement! The Special Olympics Slovakia Unified Volleyball team has won the gold medal at the inaugural Special Olympics Unified Volleyball World Cup. 

In this unique format, athletes with intellectual disabilities play alongside athletes without, promoting inclusion and teamwork. In the final match, they triumphed over Saudi Arabia in two straight sets, 2:0.

This victory is a tremendous success for athletes with intellectual disabilities and sends a powerful message about inclusion in sports.
