AmCham Slovakia Participates in High-Level Presentation on Consolidation and Combating Tax Fraud

On October 15, AmCham Slovakia took part in a high-level presentation focused on tax consolidation and fighting tax fraud, attended by the Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance, and the President of the Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic.

The event included roundtable discussions with representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Financial Administration, and other chambers and associations representing the business sector. Christiana Serugová, Chair of AmCham’s Tax Committee, participated in these discussions on behalf of AmCham.

The roundtables focused on proposals from the business community aimed at improving tax collection efficiency and strengthening the fight against tax fraud. Following the meeting, AmCham submitted its set of proposed measures to both the Ministry of Finance and the Financial Administration. These proposals will be further discussed at the Consultative Council of the President of the Financial Administration on October 23, 2025.
