Workshop: Green Claims Enforcement Risks

In our workshop we will look at case studies focusing on some of the most popular green claims, such as "sustainable" and "carbon neutral".

Increase in the consumer’s demand for green products has driven many companies to develop new eco-friendly products and adopt green marketing strategies. The European Union adopted new regulation setting clear standards on how companies need to substantiate and verify green claims and blacklists and prohibits certain greenwashing practices. This will significantly change the way companies market their products and services. Spotlight on the accuracy of environmental claims and labels including green claims became more intense.

You can expect interesting discussion on the following questions:

  • Why entrepreneurs should be aware of green claims?
  • How litigation and regulatory enforcement risks are associated with green claims?
  • Which green claims are likely to raise these risks?
  • How can these risks be managed?
  • What are the regulatory measures?
  •  What do companies need to know to be prepared for future regulation?

Topical Focus Events will be led by:

Registration is open! As the number of seats is limited, registrations will be accepted on a “First come, First served” basis.

The workshop will be held in English language.
