Speakers Bios

Ján Adamovský - Working for Slovenska Sporitelna and Erste Bank Group since 2007, Jan ‘s experience includes development and leadership of successful security teams, creation and fulfilment of security strategy preparation and definition of security requirements for large project in banking area. Able to see problems from various perspectives thanks to working experience as a Bank security representative in multiple countries and IT provider security representative. Strong leadership experience proven during the COVID-19 pandemics covering the role of the bank-wide Crisis manager. Jan likes to challenge traditional approaches and do things that makes sense.

Claudia Alner - Claudia Alner holds a senior fundraising position at GLOBSEC, where she connects global private partners with key economic and political initiatives. She is also active at Crowdberry and CB ESPRI Impact One, a social investment fund in Slovakia, where she has supported investments in fast-growing and socially responsible businesses. Her focus includes traditional and impact investing, financial literacy, and wealth-building strategies. She has extensive experience moderating discussions at international summits, investment forums, and political events.

Marek Baranyai - At Crowdberry, Marek focuses on private debt projects, structuring financing solutions, and evaluating credit risk. He has over seven years of experience in the banking sector, ranging from corporate finance analyst roles to specialist positions in debt recovery and restructuring for large corporate clients.

Julia Čilíková - Júlia Čilíková graduated from Comenius University in Bratislava with a degree in Mathematics and Physics. She began her career as an actuary at the Ministry of Finance and later became the Head of the Insurance Supervision Department. In 2002, she was appointed General Director of the Financial Market Authority, and after its merger with the National Bank of Slovakia in 2006, she held various executive roles, including Director of Regulatory and Macro-Prudential Risk Assessment. Since 2020, she has been serving as the Executive Director responsible for Consumer Protection, Financial Innovations, and Insurance and Pension Regulation and Supervision.

Oľga Dlugopolská - Olga has almost 30 years experience in securities services industry - began her career at the Bratislava Stock Exchange where she managed all operational activities including trading, settlements, post-trade data processing and also led several projects at the Central Securities Depository, continued at ING Bank NV as a Head of Securities Services & FIs with responsibility for relationship with big institutional clients and product development, joined Citi in 2013 - following acquisition of ING custody business by Citi. Chairwoman of the Slovak CSD User Committee, member of Slovak AMI-SeCo and Member of CZ AKAT Board of Directors, having strong relations with the Slovak and Czech market infrastructures and regulators and a leading role in most of the securities industry developments and market advocacy efforts. Supporting financial education for more than 10 years via cooperation with JA Slovensko. Olga holds an MSc in Mathematics from the Comenius University and an MSc in Economics from the University of Economics.

Miriam Filipová - Miriam studied strategic management and management of informational systems at the Faculty of Management of Comenius University Bratislava. During her professional career, she worked in different positions, including management roles for various international IT companies, civil service and the third sector. Since 2018, she has been working in the field of personal development and transformation, leadership, and embodiment in coaching. As part of her PhD studies, she is conducting research on leadership and human skills that are relevant for successful project management in IT.

Dano Gašpar - Daniel is responsible for managing and driving the strategic development of Crowdberry. He also focuses on growth capital investments and debt financing for small and medium-sized enterprises. He brought over 15 years of experience in industry, mergers and acquisitions, and investment banking to Crowdberry, having executed over twenty transactions totaling €1.7 billion. He has worked at the investment bank NIBC in Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK, as well as at Kaufman Bros investment bank in New York, and at Daimler AG and BASF AG. In Slovakia, he co-founded the investment advisory firm EWAMCo.

Michaela Husár Bestvinová - Michaela has more than 23 years of experience in banking, where I have spent the last 14 years leading and developing teams (around 200-member teams in recent years), building strong relationships with retail, corporate, and private clients. Together with my teams, we have focused on providing high-quality comprehensive advisory services, increasing financial literacy, and supporting client prosperity. She is currently serving as the Head of HR Business Services, where she leads teams responsible for talent acquisition (recruitment), strategy, planning, care (HR partnering), development, and education of our colleagues in the bank to build strong teams that can deliver the greatest value to our clients. She believes that investing in people and education (including financial education) is the key to a better future for our colleagues, clients, and Slovakia.

Eva Jahelka - Eva has over 19 years of experience in the financial sector. She has held various positions in private banking, which has given her an excellent understanding of different products, services, and the mechanisms behind them. She then took on the role of COO at Wealth Effect Management, a licensed securities dealer focused on managing client portfolios. Additionally, her current challenge is to encourage women to actively build, enhance, and protect their wealth, enabling them to achieve financial freedom and live life on their own terms. She also actively oversees various clubs and workshops (not only) for children, aimed at increasing financial literacy in Slovakia.

Viliam Perat - Viliam has 15 years of experience in relationship building, management, and HR across Asia and Europe. In Japan, he worked as a recruitment consultant specializing in alternative investments. He also worked in India, China, and Indonesia, where he was responsible for developing the MBA Consult group.

Eva Sadovská - Eva works as an analyst at the investment group WOOD & Company. In her analyses, which she presents in the media, she primarily focuses on investment and developments in the real estate market, with an emphasis on shopping centers, office buildings, and residential properties. She also covers selected topics related to waste management and renewable energy sources. Additionally, she serves as an ambassador for the Investment Literacy Index in Slovakia.

Peter Serina - Peter is an experienced attorney specializing in corporate, contract, real estate, and labor law, with a strong focus on litigation and dispute resolution. He has been practicing law since 2008 and also serves as an arbitrator at the Arbitration Court of the Slovak Bar Association. Beyond his legal work, he is the president of Spoločenstvo poznania, o.z., a non-profit dedicated to educating young people in financial and legal literacy, helping them develop practical skills for real-life decision-making.
