The event is intended for representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, technology transfer offices, researchers, university experts, and creative professionals who are looking for concrete information about innovation funding opportunities.

The focus will be on the Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) program and the EIT Open Innovation Challenge, which bring new opportunities for companies and consortia connecting business, research, and the creative sector. The EIT Community Hub Slovakia actively supports the creation of consortia aimed at addressing current challenges and invites individuals and organizations willing to contribute and actively engage in this process.

Participants will gain a practical overview of how to prepare a successful funding application, how to assess their project’s readiness, and what the main evaluation criteria are. The event will offer a combination of expert insights, practical recommendations, and networking opportunities, enabling participants to build new contacts and potential partnerships for future project collaborations.

The program will also feature a panel discussion focusing on a deeper look at the sustainability of innovation policies, effective connections between businesses, research, and the creative sector, and how to build long-term cooperation frameworks that go beyond individual grant calls. The discussion will present real-life examples, open questions about the future of European innovation policy, and inspiring experiences from Slovakia and abroad.
