M&A WOK 2026 brings together the people who actively shape the M&A market in Slovakia and across the region – business owners, top management, investors, representatives of financial institutions and advisors. The conference, organized by the advisory teams of A&O Shearman, Dentons, EY, Howden, Kinstellar, KPMG and Seesame, will take place on 26 May 2026 at Hotel Devín in Bratislava. Their experience from complex deals creates a platform for an open discussion on what drives successful transactions today.

The conference programme is divided into three main blocks:

• Why do we collaborate even as we compete? Latest trends in M&A - Why transactions are becoming an increasingly complex collaboration between multiple parties, and why success depends on coordination, trust and the ability to align different interests.
• Due diligence in a new era - How to set up due diligence so that it supports the transaction, identifies risks, offers solutions and strengthens the negotiating position of the parties involved.
• M&A case study - An interactive format that will guide participants through the key stages of a transaction and show what, in practice, determines trust, pace, negotiating leverage and the final value of a deal.
