Employment of Displaced People from Ukraine and People at Risk of Social Exclusion
Wednesday, May 13, 2026 From 09:30 to 11:30
Workshop in Košice
The majority of displaced Ukrainians and people at risk of social exclusion in the country resides in Eastern Slovakia. It continues to represent significant economic and social potential that remains untapped. Only a few private and public employers systematically work with the displaced Ukrainian diaspora and the Roma community.
The workshop will focus on inclusive employment and effective support for vulnerable groups in the workplace. We will provide employers with answers on how to ensure employment through a multi-level model of mental well-being support and integration of people from Ukraine and people at risk of social exclusion into local work communities. By integrating key players on the market, including public offices, municipalities, non-governmental organizations, and leading businesses, we strive to support systematic solutions of the long-term employment of socially excluded citizens.
