Jurkovičova Tepláreň (Second Floor), Bottova 1, Bratislava
Workshop
Have you ever reacted in a way that you later regretted?
Have you remained silent when you should have spoken, smiled despite feeling like a fool? Or have you stood by a colleague when they were going through something difficult and didn’t know what to say?
The topic of emotional intelligence is crucial in the work environment. It affects how we manage stress, how we communicate clearly and respectfully, how we build trust in the team and how we react in difficult situations.
HR is not therapy, but emotions are an integral part of every workplace. They appear in conversations, decisions and misunderstandings. While we can’t turn them off, we can learn to manage them.
What is waiting for you?
- Emotions as a signal: How to recognize what is happening inside us, instead of being consumed by it.
- The cycle of emotions: A simple model that helps to understand what to do with an emotion before, during and after its outbreak.
- Working with strong emotions: How to manage yourself and others in a tense situation.
- Empathetic and assertive communication: How to speak objectively, clearly and with respect – even when it is a difficult topic.
- Group coaching through emotions demonstration: A short experiential block that demonstrates working with a team and individuals on a deeper level.
What will you take away?
- A new perspective on what emotions are at work and why they are not a weakness, but a signal.
- See how emotions at work can become a source of understanding, cooperation and determination.
Because where emotions are perceived as information – not as an obstacle – there is room for reasonable reactions, not extremes.
Who is the demonstration for?
- HR managers, HR professionals and people development (L&D) specialists who are looking for practical tools to support leaders and teams in managing emotions, tense situations and sensitive communication.
- Managers and team leaders who want to better understand themselves and others and lead people with greater peace, respect and understanding.
- Anyone involved in creating a corporate environment where there is a safe space for emotions, open communication and healthy interpersonal relationships.
