As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.   

On June 30th AmCham together with partners organized the press conference explaining why the entrepreneurs welcome the reform of the Building Act and presented defined 10 specific proposals for streamlining cumbersome construction procedures. On June 25, the SME.sk published Ronald Blaško´s commentary on "Our ongoing crisis of elites".

On June 17, AmCham issued a press release with a joint position together with OnkoAliancia Slovensko and the Association of the Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry, in which they enthusiastically received information about the planned "revolution" in the availability of innovative medicines, announced in the press release of 28 May by the Ministry of Health. On June 15, AmCham organized TownHall Košice where key regional stakeholders presented the possibilities how the private sector can cooperate more intensively with universities and innovation hubs: euractiv.sk, teraz.sk/ekonomika, tasr.sk, indexmag.sk.
 
On June 14, together with Abbvie, we organized webinar about next generations of Innovative Treatments in Healthcare. On June 13 AmCham warned the public that the bill on the examination of foreign investment may bring complications in daily practice. Zuzana Cisárová, Policy Manager and Coordinator of Rule of Law initiative, drew attention to possible risks and bureaucratic burdens. (RTVS News = the report starts at 8:00 min). On June 10, the SME daily published Ronald Blaško's commentary on TAX REFORM IN SLOVAKIA (print and online).

On June 10 Ronald Blaško joined the Trend Barometer (print and online) and answered the question of whether superiors talk to subordinates about their life values, mental health and expression of emotions.

On June 9, publicist Peter Stach wrote an article in SME (print and online) on transatlantic cooperation, referring to a commentary entitled Goodwill alone will not be enough for better EU-US relations on the development and potential of transatlantic relations on the occasion of 100 days since the administration of President Joe Biden assumed office, written by directors of Slovak and Czech AmCham offices Ronald Blaško and Weston Stacey, published by DennikN.

On June 8, The Slovak Spectator published article from our Connection Magazine written by Jaroslav Leitmann of Civitta about Diversifying the automotive industry to the mobility sector.

On June 6, Trend magazine published an article on shared service centers and how they managed the crisis without state aid, quoting Peter Rusiňák, Senior Policy Manager and BSCF coordinator.
