As we do every month, we would like to inform you about some of the most important AmCham media appearances.  

On October 5 Dennik E published results of the AmCham Business Service Center Forum (BSCF) survey in relation with the home office rules. BSCF gained significant visibility in the following articles

• The shared services sector needs better legislation and a flexible labor market (online + print)
  

• Work from home business centers did not break, it moves them forward (online + print)

• Business centers do not feel critical of the corona crisis (online + print)

On October 6 Trend published a  video interview with Pavol Šajgalík, Chairman of the Slovak Academy of Sciences & signatory of AmCham’s Vision for Slovakia 2030. Daily SME mentioned the initiative in its commentary section on October 5 (print and online)

On October 9, several media (teraz.sk, tasr.sk, pis.sk, presov.sk, idexmag.sk)  informed about the Townhall meeting, organized by AmCham in Presov. It brought together regional political leaders with representatives of the private sector to seek solutions to increase the competitiveness of the Prešov region.

Online portal zive.aktuality.sk published several articles related quoting AmCham’s president G. Galgoci on issues such as digital transformation of education (Oct 16) and drawing aid from the EU Recovery Fund (Oct 15 & Oct 20. The call for the digital transformation as a priority for Slovak government was published also in Hospodarske noviny and teraz.sk.

On October 20, Slovak spectator published an interview with the Minister of Justice of the Slovak Republic, Mária Kolíková, originally published by the Connection magazine & on the AmCham blog.

On October 22 Dennik E published Ronald Blasko’s article pointing to the need of longer economically productive age.

On October 22, Trend published an interview (print and online) with Peter Kolesár, AmCham Board member, who spoke about the support of start-ups ecosystem in Slovakia and the need to adopt education system to the 21st century needs.

On October 24, Tablet.TV broadcasted an interview with AmCham President Gabriel Galgóci who was a guest of Pavol Demeš show “The World”.

The working meeting of Public Procurement Office leadership with AmCham & Rule of Law Initiative experts on Public Procurement (Oct 26) was reported by several media including teraz.sk, aktuality.sk, ekonomika.sme.sk, dnes24.sk.

On October 28, euractiv.sk published a report on the need to introduce AI in healthcare in connection with the expert webinar The path of Life-Saving Innovations in Patient Pathway.
