Three out of four AmCham and Business Service Center Forum member companies indicate the lack of qualified experts is critical to their company´s strategic development due to the continuously increasing cost of labor or because they expect new operations and value added not be created in Slovakia. 

One of the ways how we actively build bridges between the world of academia and corporates is to share knowledge and loop in both students and teachers into corporate trainings on critical skills of the future. Constant interaction with universities and high schools is instrumental to improve employability of graduates and support the process of upskilling.

For almost 15 years AmCham, together with its members, has been actively bridging businesses with educational institutions, fostering dialogue with relevant education stakeholders and effortlessly showcasing samples of good practice. Spring term 2021 has brought together in 100% digital format almost 70 university students enrolled in accredited courses Skills for Success and Hands-on HR: Global Trends at three universities as well as more than 200 high school teachers, directors and career counsellors embraced in our flagship program Train the Trainer.
