Most importantly - I want to cordially thank all of you - our members, colleagues, and supporters - for a fantastic year 2025. This season marked the opening of the fourth decade of AmCham Slovakia’s activities, as we proudly continue to represent the voice of modern international and local businesses, united within a community of more than 330 members.

AmCham´s Mission in 2026: Competitiveness as Commitment

I would like to take a moment to reflect on where we stand as a community and, more importantly, where we are heading together. The turn of the year is always an opportunity to pause, look back at what we have built, and refocus our energy on the priorities ahead. This year, that focus is clearer than ever: competitiveness.

Penta Real Estate announces its first investment in the United Kingdom a 50:50 joint venture with the renowned developer Ballymore, focused on delivering more than 680 new homes across two prime London locations.

AmCham Slovakia expresses its gratitude to all the members, who casted their votes in recent committee and task force leadership elections. In accordance with AmCham Slovakia statutes and the Code of Conduct, following the call for nominations, the voting took place digitally via email communication from the 5th December until the 12th December 2025 (23:59 PM).

Kauflands Ilava rooftop power plant could cover the consumption of 703 households

On the roof of its logistics center in Ilava, Kaufland has launched a photovoltaic power plant that will produce more than 1.5 million kWh annually. Solar energy will cover up to 98 of the buildings consumption, reducing Kauflands carbon footprint and strengthening its energy self-sufficiency.
