CMS promotes Peter Plachý to partner

CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang (CMNO) is pleased to announce the promotion of Peter Plachy, based in the Bratislava office, to Partner in its global Dispute Resolution practice, effective 1 April 2026.

Peter leads the firm’s dispute resolution practice in Slovakia and advises clients on high‑stakes, complex disputes, frequently with cross‑border elements. He has acted as counsel in both commercial and investment treaty arbitrations and has represented clients before all instances of the Slovak courts. His arbitration experience includes proceedings administered by leading institutions such as the ICC, LCIA, VIAC and ICSID.

Peter has particular expertise in corporate and post‑M&A disputes, as well as disputes in the energy, oil and gas, insurance, pharmaceutical, technology and automotive sectors. He is qualified to practise in New York and Slovakia and previously practised in London and Dubai.

Peter joined CMS in May 2025 to strengthen the firm’s dispute resolution offering in Slovakia and the Central Eastern Europe region.
