Valaliky Industrial Park, located south of Košice not further than 11 km from the city center, is one of Slovakia’s largest and most modern industrial and logistics hubs, attracting global investors due to its prime location, infrastructure, and workforce availability. The Industrial Park was designed and prepared with a strong accent on environmental aspects and in close cooperation with the local communities and municipalities. Significant resources were dedicated to the revitalization of local biotopes, including the Valaliky channel surrounded by 50 ha plus green belt separating zone from the housing. Rainwater and underground water management systems secure water retention in the area and at the same time represent antiflooding measures. Anti–noise barriers are integral parts of newly built rail and road infrastructure.
